What's Your Favorite Caribbean Island?
Mark & I are planning our next trip. Now I've only had limited experiences with the Caribbean and so far, St. John is my favorite. But we thought we'd check in with our readers to find out...What's your favorite spot?
What we want is:
>> Tropical feel with trees and mountains
>> Lots of beautiful beaches for sunning
>> Places to stay right on the beach
>> Daytime activities such as snorkeling, horseback riding, etc.
>> Great food!
Feel free to share your greatest trip here.
And we will be sure to share it all with you as we go along!
Thanks and happy travels!

Hi Melanie!
I've sailed from Puerto Rico to South America and back, so I've been to nearly every isle in the Lesser Antilles.
Nevis has an absolutely amazing, world class 4 star resort with sunsets that will blow you away. Definitely look into it.
Martinique is a beautiful French island, as is Guadelupe (which has sweet waterfalls) so if you'd like to vive en france en la carib, these are the places.
St. Lucia is the place to go if you want steel drum bands and rastafarian parties. The accomodations I saw aren't as nice, but the beaches and mountains are hands-down, the best.
The BVI's are a always a great all-around bet. Make sure you go to 'the baths' and the cays! Cheeseburger in paradise was written here!
Hope this helps, and sorry I missed the second half of your presentation at James' boot camp. Had to rush another attendee to the hospital! Hope you're fabulous, despite fire troubles. Let me know if you'd like additional caribbean consulting :)

Hi Melanie. My wife & I love Turks & Caicos. The islands are small and unspoiled. Totally uncommercial. White sand, clear turqoise waters and great snorkelling & Scuba available.
All the best
Mark
